VICE PRESIDENT VISITS AS COMMISERATIONS RAIN INTO OWO TOWN

Following the barbaric attack on the worshippers at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, that led to the death of multitude of people on 5th June 2022, Nigerians in the country and those in diaspora have been sending condolence messages to console the Diocese and families of the victims.
A lot of Catholic youths have visited the two most designated hospitals for the admission of those being treated, Federal Medical Center and St Louis Catholic Hospital, both in Owo town to donate blood as there was a clarion call for blood donation. Other people too have donated blood and money to assist in this noble course to saving life.
In the same vein, the hospitals have received the presence of the Governor of the State since yesterday Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu. They have also received today 6TH June 2022, the presence of the Vice President of the country, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, including Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, and few members of the Ondo State Government cabinet.
The Vice President promised that calmness will be restored in Owo town and the perpetrators will not go unpunished.
