The Bishop expressed his delight in the whole presentations and praises the efforts of all those who put the Carol together. He particularly singled out the sacrifices of the host choir.
“We shall not be having Diocesan carol next year, we shall have it on Deanery level to aid more participation.” “Don’t hesitate to use your talent to serve God” said the Bishop.

“There are many beautiful people in our Diocese but few have come out to use their talents.”

As a way to add dynamism to the event, the Bishop added, “there shall be Deanery carols next year, not Diocesan.”

“However, we should not forget the purpose of Christmas carol. The purpose of Christmas carol is not for show, it’s for each one of us to make Christ present in the world by our lives and what we do.”

The program ended with the Bishop’s episcopal blessings while everyone went back with a lot of joy in expectancy of the newly born king, Jesus Christ.
