Following the meeting held with the patrons and patronesses of the Communications Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode, it was unanimously agreed by these kind souls to ensure the establishment of a standard studio for the Communication Department. The meeting which was held on 2nd January, 2023 at St Timothy Catholic Church, Degun had in attendance four of the Patrons and Patronesses, Dr Oluko Onanuga, Hon (Mrs) Elizabeth Sonubi, Mr. Michael Igbodipe and Hon. Mary Adesanya, while Chief (Mrs) Olori V. O Banjo was unavoidably absent. Also present at the meeting were Rev. Fr. Anthony Adetayo and Rev. Fr. Charles Soyege.

This meeting yielded great outcomes as the program of the year by the department was shared and great contributions were inputted by the patrons and patronesses. One of such is commissioning of Art work by youngsters and this year would be focused on music as this attracts most of the young people. It is planned that the winner of the music competition would be sponsored by the department in releasing their music album.

While we await the establishment of the studio, we pray for the patrons and patronesses who have willingly shouldered the great idea. May Almighty God provide for them and lead them to right people who will as well help in the accomplishment of this initiative.
