1. Fr. Alfred Ajayi died of car accident, (01 – 03 – 1971). He was buried behind Saint Sebastian Catholic Cathedral Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
  2. Fr. Liam Muphy died of natural sickness (05 – 10 – 1971). He was buried behind Saint Sebastian’s Catholic Cathedral, Ijebu-Ode.
  3. Fr. Brendan Donohue S.M.A died of car accident at a bridge near Ogbere(11 – 11 – 1975). He was buried in Esure behind the Church.
  4. Fr. Joseph Adeneye died of natural sickness in U.C.H Ibadan (16 – 03 – 1976). He was buried behind the Cathedral Church Ijebu-Ode.
  5. Fr. Carlos Gacia, CICM (01 – 06 – 1984) was killed by armed robbers. He was buried in Ogbere.
  6. Fr. Emmanuel Adeboye died of natural sickness at U.C.H Ibadan on 22 – 06 – 1985. He was buried behind the Cathedral Church, Ijebu-Ode.
  7. Rev. Sr. Helen Bamgbala EHJ, died of car accident (24 – 11 – 1985). She was buried in Ibowon.
  8. Fr. Joseph Otoide, MSP, died of injuries he sustained in a auto crash (18 – 09 – 1995). He was buried in the Seminary Cemetery Gwagalada, Abuja.
  9. Fr. Peter Ibanga CMF. He died suddenly in Saint Joseph Hospital (23 – 06 – 1996). He was buried at Nekede Owerri in the Cemetery of the Congregation.
  10. Fr. Stephen Segun Peters MSP, died as a result of Injury sustained in an accident. (23 – 04 – 1999). He was buried in the M.S.P Cemetery Gwagalada, Abuja.
  11. Sr. Daniella Gottward FCJM – A Franciscan Sister from Germany who lived in Ijebu-Ode and served the rural areas in Ogbere Parish. She died in a car accident (20 – 07 – 1999). Her remain was flown back to Germany and was buried at the Sister’s Cemetery in Sallzkotten Parderbone Arcdiocese, Germany.
  12. Fr. Steve-Mary Mbatuegwu CMF, died in an auto crash near Benin City (08 – 01 – 2000), on His way back from the General Assembly of Claretians in Owerri. He was buried in the Cemetery of the order in Nekede, Owerri.
  13. Friar John Joseph Borja FI died of a sudden illness, (11 – 04 – 2003) He was buried in Ijebu-Igbo.
  14. Friar Francisco Campo FI also died of a sudden illness, (06 – 11 – 2003). He was buried in Ijebu-Igbo.
  15. Most Rev. Anthony Sanusi – died of Old age at Sacred Heart Hospital, Abeokuta (08 – 12 – 2009) and was buried in Cathedral Church, Ijebu-Ode.
  16. Msgr. Godwin Akpan MSP died on 31-8-2010 of a natural illness and was buried in Abuja.
  17. Msgr. Sylvester Adekoya – died of a natural illness on 16-6-2018. He was buried at St. Sebastian Cathedral, Ijebu-Ode
  18. Fr. Conrad Orcina FI died in his peaceful sleep in Sagamu on 21-12-2019. He was buried at the City of the Immaculate in Sagamu.
  19. Msgr. Valentine Olanipekun Awoyemi died of a brief illness on 03-07-2020. He was buried at St. Sabestian Cathedral, Ijebu-Ode on 09-07-2020.
  20. Most Rev. Albert Ayinde Fasina – died of Old age, Ijebu Ode (29 – 06 – 2021) and was buried in Cathedral Church, Ijebu-Ode on 14-07-2021.
  21. Msgr. Gabriel Kole Ayankoya died on 28-05-2022 at Bishop Sanusi Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was buried on 10-06-2022 at St. Sebastian Catholic Cathedral, Ijebu-Ode.
